Hi! I want to make a legacy development environment to build old code that is now incompatible with the current libraries (qt 1,kde 1, etc.), just for laughs. I got past gcc 2.95.3, binutils 2.13.1 and glibc 2.2.5. Qt 1 needed libX11.so.1 (I think), but when it tried to link against it, libX11.so.1 said it needed libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3). I now need a way to compile X in /opt/old/ instead of /usr. I have build X once before, but with the defaults. Anybody know an easy way to tell it to install in /opt/old? Thanks! -Steven
