Upgraded MozillaFirefox via Online Update - Problem
I just upgraded MoxillaFirefox via the online upgrade and can no longer run it as a user. Root opens firefox without any problems. Here are the messages I get when I attempt to open it as a user: computation@abnormal:/opt/MozillaFirefox/bin> firefox.sh & [1] 27151 computation@abnormal:/opt/MozillaFirefox/bin> (Gecko:27158): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_parent_window: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed (Gecko:27158): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_is_viewable: assertion `window != NULL' failed (Gecko:27158): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_parent: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed ./firefox.sh: line 254: 27158 Segmentation fault $MOZ_PROGRAM $MOZ_LANG The default version of firefox worked as a user. The only changes to the system were done by the online update process. What do I have to do to restore the use of firefox as a user. Thanks in advance. -- Stephen P.
