probably, but I noticed YaST can shrink the windows partition more than Vista :-))
Including when the disk is dynamic?
I have never seen a dynamic windows install :-( Including when you didn't partition first
and then install Windows yourself?
yes, from stock new laptop Including when the partitioning uses Vista
1M "cylinders" instead of traditional ~7.8M "cylinders"?
don't know. I first shrunk the disk with Vista, but Vista didn't let me shrink enough. YaST did perfectly the job. Including a system
using GPT instead of legacy partitioning? How much more?
never seen any such thing.
delete or disregard hyberfil.sys and/or pagefile.sys before calculating,
usually I remove these files myself. However I couldn't defragment vista properly, as I only had the stock defragmenter when install become too complex, either one is better than I am or he have to reinstall. I still fail to see any real advantage of RAID or LVM systems, other than for heavy server instal with professional backup jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
