-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm about to pull the source for KDE off DVD 5 and have a question. I note that there is a kdebase3-3.1.1-17.src.rpm and a kdebase3-SuSE-8.2-19.src.rpm. Not having looked at contents yet, I'm assuming that the SuSE files are related to changes SuSE made to KDE prior to release. Is this correct? More to the point, if I were wanting to make a minor change, recompile and install my modified version of KDE, what would I need to do to make certain that I'm keeping the changes that SuSE made? tia - ---Michael -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-rc1-SuSE (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+7ITKjeziQOokQnARAtyeAJ9Dlu+zB6paXEcelwsHqVtat1nClgCeKbG2 E1LafOUVULWVLoKMtRH2pfk= =X1Vk -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

IIANM, kdebase3 package is the KDE base package, and kdebase3-SuSE-8.2 are the additions (NOT PATCHES), such as the SuSE menus, themes, etc. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM.
