how make galeon to print in greyscale and economode
I just wonder how make galeon or gnumeric print my docs in greyscale and/or economode? By default all my documents are printed in normal mode and it's not econonic. I want to save my ink. a. PS--the Print dialogue shows "lpr". It seems I should add some parameters, should I?

It is not galeon or gnumeric that set the printer mode but additional options to lpr. man lpr or lpr --help will give additional options to use. -- Ken Schneider unix user since 1989 linux user since 1994 SuSE user since 1998 (5.2)

and/or lpoptions, man lpoptions. lpoptions -l will list the options available for *your* printer. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711

You might also look at xpp to set your parameters. You might even consider printing to xpp instead of lpr. If you have problems with this, ask questions. gud luk, -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711
