There are a bunch of updated pkgs for KDE-base at:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.2/base
Is there a way to use YAST to get and install
these, as we do w/ YOU?
I wondered about this too.
Yes, it's possible with YaST, but not as straightforward as it should be :) The steps are: 1. Add a new source of installation in the "Change Source of Installation" and make it the first
source
in the list (or probably even better - disable all other sources in the list) In your case a new ftp installation should contain: Server name: ftp.suse.com Directory on the server:
pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.2/yast_source
Authentication: Anonymous

'Didn't work......"failed."
Sorry, misspelled the path - should be pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.2/yast-source Dmitry
