RE: [SLE] Touch pad sensitivity

I have a Compaq Presario 1900 XL161 with a touch pad, and I was curious if there is some code available to adjust the sensitivity. (I am running an unpatched SuSE 6.4). I did a quick search of the howtos and did not see anything interesting.
Yes, I had a problem with my 1675 and there is a fix. IIRC I found it on one of the links for a compaq model here, but can't remember which. http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/ I also remember there being a link from the synaptics homepage (they make the touchpad in my model) http://www.synaptics.com if I'm not mistaken. The program you're looking for is called tpconfig (or similiar). The problem I had seemed to be noise on the ps/2 bus as a ps/2 mouse would also be jumpy, now I use a serial mouse and am trying to move to USB :-) I don't like the touchpad much, it just seems too coarse.
