[S.u.S.E. Linux] No package in 5.2 ?
As Jamie Zawinski has an excellent app named Xscreensaver, is it possible to get an official SuSE rpm of this ? I think it should seriously be looked at for inclusion on the SuSE distribution. Maybe you are thinking of xlock? -Wolfgang -- PGP 2 welcome: Mail me, subject "send PGP-key". If you've nothing at all to hide, you must be boring. xlock doesn't do what xscreensaver does. Look at <A HREF="http://people.netscape.com/jwz/xscreensaver/index.html"><A HREF="http://people.netscape.com/jwz/xscreensaver/index.html</A">http://people.netscape.com/jwz/xscreensaver/index.html</A</A>> I have motif and mesa on my system and really like pipes. -Dee W.D.McKinney (Dee) -=- deem@wdm.com No claim to fame, just saved by Grace. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
I looked at this website. If this program was any more like xlock someone would get sued for copyright infringement, or plagiarism. Xlock can be configured for what you are talking about (Mesa/GL). man xlock W.D.McKinney wrote:

See the January 1998 issue of LJ which has an article on it. or <A HREF="http://people.netscape.com/jwz/xscreensaver/versus-xlock.html"><A HREF="http://people.netscape.com/jwz/xscreensaver/versus-xlock.html</A">http://people.netscape.com/jwz/xscreensaver/versus-xlock.html</A</A>> Many advatages over xlock. All this from the guy who is responsible for mozilla.org and our unix versions of Netscape.
