You should probably report this to KDE directly, but they seem to be unavailable at the moment. I would suggest reinstalling kmail. followed your suggestion, I reinstalled kdepim. ( In fact , I reinstall all the KDE packages including qt3), it seems no more crashes now, just need some more time to test. Thank you for your advice! -- Regards lof
