-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, I'm working with SuSE 8.1 and MySQL 3.23 and I want to upgrade the version of MySQL ( go to MySQL 4.0.13/14) I didn't find upgrade packages. First,is it possible to make this upgrade or is it too complicated (and not a good idea !!! ) ? And if not, can you tell me if rpm package exist for 8.1 (or 8.2) ? (where can I find them !...) Thank you a lot in advance for your help, best regards, Fabrice -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/RiBr9/fviBH8dEsRAlnzAJ97Oaadj5oH1oI2QN9zgZO+YxfzNwCeLKFo shJmkex0osPbSSskCfmw6dg= =hf4u -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

I've been running MySQL 4.0.10-4.0.13 on an 8.0 box and an 8.1 box for quite some time without problems. I obtained the RPMs by following the links from http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-4.0.html In both cases, they were fresh installs instead of upgrades. I did move some databases from 3.23 to them by using mysqldump to dump everything from the 3.23 and them import into 4.0.x though. Jason Joines Open Source = Open Mind =======================
