[opensuse] 10 Gigabit Ethernet
Hi, I wonder if anyone can share his/her experience with 10 Gigabit Ethernet running on OpenSuse? Details like the make and model of host adapter, interface, any special linux kernel needed, 10G Ethernet switches, and the throughput will be very useful. Many thanks in advance. It is like 10GE on any LINUX/UNIX.

Nothing special; just supported hardware and it works like 1GE only much faster. Of course you need a fast machine with 64-bit PCI [PCI-E / PCI-X? I get all the PCIs these days mixed up] to get your money's worth.
and the throughput will be very useful.
