Oops, I meant to say the clockchip is internal on most modern ATI hardware. Out of 4 machines 3 have ATI video, the forth doesn't have a monitor :-) Tim

Is your card onboard, and what have you specified as clockchip in your case?
I have an onboard Rage Pro, it has no clockchip setting in the XF86Config file. The clockchip is internal on most modern hardware and requires no setting.
