Hi everyone. How can I put up a bunch of files using command-line ftp? I've got 100 .html files to upload. I can put them one at a time but can't seem to be able to use wild cards to do the lot. Thanks, Steve.

When moving multiple files via FTP, 1) turn off interactive mode with the command: "prompt" 2) use the multiple put command: "mput" with your wildcards, like "mput *.mp3" Conversely you can use "mget" to retreive multiple files. If you don't do step 1, you'll have to confirm the transfer of each file. Typing "prompt" again reenables interactive mode. -- JAY VOLLMER JVOLLMER@VISI.COM TEXT REFS DOUBLEPLUSUNGOOD SELFTHINK VERGING CRIMETHINK IGNORE FULLWISE
