[opensuse] Question re Tumbleweed
A question for Greg K-H or others familiar with Tumbleweed; is it safe to do a zypper dup to Tumbleweed from oS 12.3 (assuming all non-Tumbleweed repositories are disabled)? I'm thinking that might be the only way to get an up-to-date 13.1 equivalent with KDE 4.12.4 for now... Thoughts? Hints? Caveats? You should first upgrade to 13.1. Then, change your oss, non-oss, updates, updates-non-oss, to the ones labelled "current", which at present are just links to the 13.1 repos. Remove all other repos. Then add the Tumbleweed repo, and run that "zypper dup". All this is documented on the Tumbleweed portal.

Thanks, Carlos. I'll see how it goes on the laptop.
