[SLE] printing through an NT service

Printing from my linux machine through a win print server stopped working. I've configured it to configure printer trough samba (or similar wording) in yast. It worked for a few days than it stopped working. It doesn't give an error or anything it just doesn't print. Could it be the samba configuration??? -- Tiago Pascoal (l41484@alfa.ist.utl.pt) FAX : +351-1-7273394 Politicamente incorrecto, e membro (nao muito) proeminente da geracao rasca. have a look into /usr/bin/samba_print. This is the script that does the printing. You have the possibility to enable error logging. Sadly, this script (talking about 6.2) will "print to nowhere" if say, the client is not connected. I had -Win 3.11- as a print server and running it for more that 48 hours made it secretly close the service, but still claiming everything is right. It's always a wise idea (after looking into the logs) to reboot the windows machine. the other file involved is /etc/apsfilterrc.<PRINTERNAME>. It contains service names, passwords and stuff like that. The there might be authentication issues as well, like changed passwords that come to my mind.
