Where did the Hardware database go to?
I have an old link that's done before this into a SuSe Compatable hardware database, It no longer works (last used with 8.2). Could someone please provide the latest link. Many thanks scsijon

When in doubt, go back to the beginning (http://www.novell.com/products/suselinux/) and follow the steps. http://cdb.novell.com/

Sorry, already had tried this way, but the number of motherboards, components, etc. is seriously less than the old SuSE list had (and my board which was in the old one is not even in it) so I thought it must be a work-in-progress. oh well, thanks anyway scsijon

I wonder if some of the older stuff has been taken out because somebody felt it was now obsolete? I feel that IF this is the case then it is wrong. I hope it is not due to somebody thinking old hardware is obsolete as that is a very Microsoft way of thinking. Perhaps there ought to be two databases? One with hardware up to 2 years old and the other with older stuff? Just a thought.... -- ============================================== I am only human, please forgive me if I make a mistake it is not deliberate. ============================================== Xmas may be over but, PLEASE DON'T drink and drive you'll make it to the next one that way.
