Hi. I use VMware Workstation and SuSE 7.3. I have used it with Windows XP, but now I have installed WIN98SE. When I want to setup the Internet Connection, WIN98SE will try to setup a modem. I'm not using a modem for the Internet, but a ISDN LAN ROUTER. How do I overcome the "modem" problem ?. -- Med venlig hilsen/Best regards/vy73 de oz4kk Erik Jakobsen - erik@urbakken.dk Powered by SuSE 7.3 Linux

VMWare doesn't need a modem if you configure the virtual machine's networking properly. Use Linux to make your ISP connection, then start VMWare. -- -=|JP|=- Need a good geek? I'm unemployed! Do yuo say that its a not proper setup network in the virtual mascine, that does, that the info on modem appears on the monitor ??. I can use Linux as you can see here. Else you could not read this :-) -- Med venlig hilsen/Best regards/vy73 de oz4kk Erik Jakobsen - erik@urbakken.dk Powered by SuSE 7.3 Linux
