[opensuse] reboot (or poweroff) seems to hang when there is a mounted ncpfs
Hi, I've experienced this on two separate servers 1 running Suse 10.2 i386, and 1 running the Suse 10.2 x86-64 xen kernel. But they both connect to the same Netware 6.0 server. When there is a mounted ncpfs the reboot (or poweroff) process hangs just after the line displaying the filesystems are unmounting. I've waited maybe five minutes at times, displaying no HD activity, after which I just pressed the reset button on the server, to get things going again. The last lines in /var/log/boot.omsg show (if that is any help): [...] Running /etc/init.d/halt.local done<notice>killproc: kill(5172,3) Sending all processes the TERM signal... done When I first umount the ncpfs before the reboot, the machines reboots just fine... Has anyone had the same experience? Should this become a bug report? Met vriendelijke groet / Best regards, Wilfred van Velzen -- SERCOM Regeltechniek b.v.
