KOffice under 7.1 has issues with .docs that the 7.2 version does not have...
Well, I guess whoever made the KOffice packages for 7.1 KDE 2.2 never checked to see if it would import .doc's correctly. I have some of the same word documents at home as I do at work and they are not seen nor am I able to open them. These are the same documentation that I reference at work..and it's a no go. I guess more care was taken for the 7.2 RPM's. Damn...I guess I have to continue to use SO5.2 at home..because I'm not upgrading at home right now. Could someone at SuSE look into this...and yes I deleted all Koffice related config files and let them be recreated. Yes, I removed the RC versions of KOffice before installing the final release. *sigh* This shouldn't be that much of a pain... -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org cat CE|ME|NT|XP > /dev/null

I guess I should'nt upgrade Koffice from version 1.1 RC1 because I have no troubles opening .doc files (or .xls-files)? Haven't used it much though but it has't crashed on me till now. Marcel ## Very funny Scotty. Now beam down my clothes ##
