This suggests that SuSE wants to control and oversee what people do with openSuSE. With each new release of OpenSuSE, it becomes increasingly difficult to do local builds, even with all the required devel packages installed. OBS is not acceptable for devel work or for non-public code. There are things that people want to do that are nobody else's business at all. jd -- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks for the explanation, but that was not really the point. I did not even understand why I received an private email with a reply which had nothing to do with the content of my own mail. I should have used a better wording. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
