I and many others on the SuSE Linux mailing list have been using your PTP cameras operating under the Linux operating system for quite some time, as a matter of fact, I bought Kodak precisely because your cameras just plugged into the USB port and worked without anything further to do. They work on many other versions of Linux as PTP support is included as standard. On behalf of my fellow Linux users, we'd ask you to consider advertising the fact that they are not solely usable under Windows, but Linux also. We have a number of applications that can access your cameras, gphoto2 and gtkam are two I personally use. Linux is a very mature operating system and is gaining wide acceptance for both Corporate and home use. Most of the Hollywood studios use Linux to render their films, Lord of the Rings, Shrek, Titanic and many other notable films were rendered using Linux, also the pictures from Mars have been handled by Linux.
