Have I Ordered the Wrong Version of 9.1
I'm running two FTP installs of 9.0 on a couple of machines connected together via a small LAN at home. I've just pre-ordered the 9.1 Personal CD, but I have since found a comparison table at suse.com that says that Personal Edition does not have the NFS server and configuration module Will I still be able to network my two machines? Or have I ordered the wrong version? Steve

Yes, I think you have, given you want to run servers. However, you'll be able to network them in various ways, I'm sure (eg. with ssh - assuming the personal provides sshd) plus after a week or two the entire distribution (minus a few commercial products) will appear on the ftp mirrors and you'll then be able to install nfs servers, etc, by downloading the appropriate packages. The most you ought to suffer is a minor delay in achieving the setup you want. But next time I'd buy the professional upgrade and get the lot on CD/DVD from day one without spending significantly more. In case you hadn't noticed, the pro upgrade is identical with the pro edition except in containing fewer printed manuals and some minor difference in installation support. Cheers Fergus
