[SLE] Installing a second kernel from the 6.3 CD?

      Hello,
   I would like to install a second kernel from the Suse 6.3 cd.  I know how to configure LILO to allow me to boot either kernel, but I am not sure how to get the second kernel off the cd.  I found the kernel rpm's in the images directory, but unfortunately, I am an rpm know-nothing.

(I installed the pentium optimized kernel, and the system is locking up on me when I run ld.  I want to try the standard kernel and do some performance/stability comparisons.)
