Hi everyone, My little brother bought me a present which is the M$ Internet Keyboard Pro (Intelli Type Pro), well as you may imagine for a M$ user that is probably a qood present now the question is does any one know how I can make this keyboard working in the X properly. Now since I am a newbie it is difficult to come with the answer by myself. I thought of using the Xkeycaps (leaving some dead keys ofcourse) however I couldn't quite figure out how to get the produced xmodmap activated either the man pages are speaking chinese to me or am I becoming weird. One more thing the keyboard layout is also turkish q Hope somebody knows a way to sort this thx -- Togan Muftuoglu toganm@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I am using one (English version) without a problem. I even have a usb mouse plugged into the keyboard that works fine. What is it not doing? Well basicly I can have it working with the English keyboard also. However the problem starts when I am using the Turkish keyboard layout. Since Sax was not able to determine it I said pc104 with layout trq. In the KDE environment I have chosen the Turkish keyboard layout using codes for pc windows keys which is set global and docked at startup. Sometimes it works with no problem bu sometimes it would not type the I letter when I am writing in English or Turkish. On the panel where I should be able to see the active keyboard layout sometimes it shows I am using Trq sometimes it does not show. How did you defined it in the XF86Config file -- Togan Muftuoglu toganm@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo! ooohh.. I was afraid you were going to ask that... I have it set up as a standard 104 in XF86Config (defined through sax), but since I leave it at English I don't think I'll be much help to you.... sorry Tim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Togan Muftuoglu" <toganm@yahoo.com> To: "Timothy Metz" <tmetz@frankfurt.netsurf.de> Cc: <suse-linux-e@suse.com> Sent: Sunday, March 12, 2000 9:52 AM Subject: Re: [SLE] Internet Keyboard Pro
