Currently running 10.1 rc 3 64 bit on a Compaq laptop with a Broadcom 4306 wireless chip. Have the 64bit windows driver loaded using ndiswrapper 1.15. If I use ifup/down wireless works fine. Networkmanager works with ndiswrapper only if the AP is encrypted. If the AP is unencrypted, NM stops at 28% (start of stage 3) and fails to connect the majority of the time if there is only 1 AP or only one id name. If your in an area where there are multiple AP with different names, both encrypted and unencrypted, then NM connects to the unencrypted network. Has anyone had success with just the single unencrypted AP points like those at the airport? Clark
