What is the preferred method in SuSE Linux 5.1 to "insmod sound", in which configuration script should I include this?

Put the line "insmod sound" in /etc/rc.d/boot.local or use "kernald", which automatically loads modules on demand. That's what works for me. If you have an AWE32 or 64, you can also load soundfont banks by adding the lines in boot.local "sfxload synthgm.sf2" or which ever .sf2 file you desire. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
