[opensuse] Kmail Address Book question/problem
It seems that Kmail does not remember email addresses that I enter. I usually right click on the persons email ,add to address book, then click Personal Contacts, then OK. Next time I want to send an email the address is not in the add book. Do I need to remove the add book and start over? Is there a way to do that? It's just getting annoying now. Thanks, Mike. Didn't you remark during recent conversation that you had disabled akonadi? I believe that akonadi is required for kab. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Umm, Not me. This has been going on for quite a while, it's just getting annoying as I forget email addresses and rely on them being there after I know I put them in more than once. 2558 ? sorry then, I don't have a clue. I have kontact which contains kab and many addresses, which appear to be those in my phone and probably come from google/mail/calendar, but no addresses from email as I use mutt/abook/lbdb. I only use google calendar because it works with my atrix phone. kontact 4.6 will also, but is not stable on openSUSE yet. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Sometimes it's only the address that makes it into the address book. You have to go into Contacts, find the email address, which is usually at the top or bottom of your list, then edit it to add details such as the contact's name, etc. Bob -- Registered Linux User #463880 FSFE Member #1300 GPG-FP: A6C1 457C 6DBA B13E 5524 F703 D12A FB79 926B 994E openSUSE 11.4 64-bit, Kernel 2.6.37.6-0.5-desktop, KDE 4.6.3 Intel Core2 Quad Q9400 2.66GHz, 8GB DDR RAM, nVidia GeForce 9600GT -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
