Hello all of you guy's,
Now I'm just a simple guy from Belgium. I have little experiance with Suse and/or Linux in the past, but I'm learning ... every day. I'm watching the discussions from this list for a fcouple of weeks now, and I'm wondering. For a few months now, I'm testing Suse6.1. It runs on a P133 with 32 megs of ram. And I do know thats an old distro, and I realise it's an old machine to, it's just all I got to test with. It runs just fine as a simple fileserver (for now) in a small network, and thats basicly what my intension was. My question is basicly very simple. Will it run 8.0 ? Or will it just not run Yast ? I can run the version of KDE that was with the distro, but will it run the version 3 comming with the 8.0 distro ? What I would like to know is, is this machine worth trying to install this new version ? -sure hope it is ..
Many thank for your time and advice, FDC

It will work surely. I have been installing it on my old laptop which had just 64mbyte of ram. The SuSEconfig part was not fast, but not any slower than ever. And yast2 went pretty good.
