I have an external USB hard drive connected to my SuSE 9.2 box. By default, SuSE uses submount to mount the drive in the /media directory. It appears that submountd immediately unmounts my drive whenever it is not being used. Does anyone know of a way to delay the unmounting of the drive? I would prefer the drive to stay mounted for say 1 minute after a period of inactivity. The reason i'd like to do this is that it takes submountd quite a long time ( ~10 seconds ) to mount the drive so if I want to access it frequently it gets quite annoying. Thanks, Scott
