[opensuse] Leap 42.2 with Intel Skylake?
Hi Folks, I recall issues with Skylake, are they still present? Anyone have any recent experiences to share? This would be for a laptop. Thanks, Lew -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I'm running it on two Skylake machines (and 42.1 before), but those are servers, and not starting any GUI. I have not really noticed major issues there. My desktop at home is also Leap, but has an NVidia graphics card. Same there: No issues I'd relate to the Skylake. I do have a laptop with a skylake and HD530 graphics. That one is/was known to create issues, which is why I installed Tumbleweed when I got it (Last August). Again, no problems with it. Hi! Updated versions run without any (major) issues. I have two EliteDesk 800 G2 running with Leap 42.2; sometimes one of the three monitors (connected to the integrated graphic card) turns off and on again. This is a kernel issue I have reported here https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1006267 Except that, I don't see any issues. I have m3 on TW and good pstate support did not arrive until 4.8.6 (it made not a lot of difference). I dont remember having any issues with graphics. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
