Hello Linux folks, I got a strange problem with opening port 143 for imap services. I enabled this imap service in inetd.conf. However when I try to reach port 143 in Netscape it says: ... access has been disabled for security reasons. What parameter and in which configuration file can enable access to port 143? The services launched by inetd are protected by tcpd (it provides
logging and simple access control). See the `man tcpd' and man 5
hosts_access'. You should add
imapd:
