Since the OLS key signing I've been getting signature replies with this message: Encrypted message (decryption not possible) Reason: Crypto plug-in "openpgp" could not decrypt the data. Error: Bad passphrase I was not asked for the passphrase, and if I extract the message it opens OK with gpg. I have since turned on gpg-agent and now email hangs and I have a bunch of these processes: SL 13:27 0:00 gpg --batch --decrypt I also cannot open Kgpg it starts the icon flashed a bit and it goes away. I'm running SuSE 9.3 with the recent YOU updates. -- Collector of vintage computers http://www.ncf.ca/~ba600 Machines to trade http://www.ncf.ca/~ba600/trade.html Open Source Weekend http://www.osw.ca

I was not asked for the passphrase, and if I extract the message it opens OK with gpg.

Well kgpg leaves these prcesses behind when it seems to die 4281 1.2 1.4 25104 9364 ? S 11:32 0:00 kgpg 4282 2.9 2.6 30444 17048 ? S 11:32 0:00 kgpg 4284 0.0 0.1 3596 1264 ? SL 11:32 0:00 gpg --no-secmem-warning --no-tty --with-colon --list-keys --charset utf8 At the moment when kmail hangs on signed mail I just go and delete the gpg --batch process Any further thougth on getting kgpg/gpg-agent/ kmail working again?

Signed messages are OK

Got this resolved there were 2 lock files left over. So now it's just the encrypted messages and kgpg that are not working -- Collector of vintage computers http://www.ncf.ca/~ba600
