hi all, in windows, i can use my HP690c+ deskjet printer in three so-called qualities: econofast, normal and high. the econofast option uses much less ink and is very good for printing drafts. is there any way of using this option in linux? i've tried setting up two "different" printers, one with a resolution of 300x300 and the other at 600x600, so i could print to lp2 (=300x300) or lp5 (=600x600). i can print to both of them, but there is no difference between the two: they both have high quality. does anyone know if econofast has been implemented? and if so, how can i use it? BTW: i'm running SuSE 6.2. thanks for any help. joost kremers ______________________________________________ FREE Personalized Email at Mail.com Sign up at http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
