Hello all: I have SUSE 10.0 and gimp gimp-2.2.8-6 / gtk2-2.8.3-4.3. I have the following problem: I can't enter a dot-folder and open images located in a dot-folder in gimp. File -> Open gives me the Open Image Window but I don't know how to go into the folder (which is a .*** folder) where the image is located. Is this normal? If yes, a very wrong design. Is there a solution? (Eg in Mozilla there is an option to show hidden folders). Thanks, IG _______________________________________________________________________________ 23-án este héttől választási eredmények és tudósítások percről percre. gnome *is* a wrong design, and unfortunately The Gimp is following in its footsteps But if you right-click in the file list, you should get an option to show "hidden" files

Grrrrrr. ;-) I really like both... one for some tasks and the other for different tasks. When they're stable, they're both a joy in comparison to M$! Carl

In the Open Image dialog, right-click in the file list and select "Show Hidden Files". -- Homepage http://scottj.org XFce desktop environment http://www.xfce.org
