Wow! I'm in favor of that! I assume you use it and are pleased with it? How can they get away with such a low price? Thanks again -- Dennis Tuchler <dtuchler@earthlink.net>

Tekram's website supports linux. Low Price? Well just look at it. It's made in China, (good quality, low price). It's just a monolithic IC with a single connector. Notice it dosn't have an external connector for a scanner or other external device, and it only has 1 internal connector. It's not the fastest either, but it will work good enough for most purposes. If you want the fast-scsi, 2 internal connectors, or an external connector, then you pay more. You can also pay more for "scsi-bios" which lets you boot from scsi devices on the card. If you want those extra features, you might have to pay around $40 or $50 for a card. If you want to check out other options, go to http://www.pricewatch.com and search for scsi controllers. -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation

Unfortunately, I need the card for external use (a scanner). Thanks. -- Dennis Tuchler <dtuchler@earthlink.net>
