suse network will not work with 100MBIT only 10MBIT
Problem: the 2 x 100 MBÌT network cards, both with the same realtek chipset, only work with 10 Mbit 1. PC OS: Suse 7.3 works as a router and fileserver with 2 network cards: - 1 10 MBIT network card for the DSL Modem - 1 100 MBIT network card with RTL 8139(A) chipset with original Suse driver 2. PC OS: W2K - 1 100 MBIT network card with RTL 8139(A) chipset with original w2k driver, 'auto mode' in properties tab Both computers are connected thru a crosslink CAT5 cable for 100 MBIT. I allready tried to run the network card in the 2. PC in '100 full mode' in properties tab. Nothing helped so far. What to do? Appreciate your help!

Set the W2K network card to 100Mb/FULL duplex - auto is notoriously unreliable. what brand NICs are you using - I have 4 x Intel Pro 10/100's here all running 100 full. Jon
