(Unwanted) OpenOffice.org 1.1.1 warnings...
Hi, I have SUSE 9.1 and would like to deactivate the warnings OpenOffige displays while saving into "foreign" data formats as e.g. M$ .xls or .doc ! I googled a bit and attempted to change in the preferences the default data format and/or few other minor things, but they didn't do the trick; I still get the annoying messages. Please does anyone a working solution to get rid of that useless warnings efficiently? (I work about 50%-50% with OpenOffice's own and foreign data-formats...) Thanks, Pelibali

Download OpenOffice 2.0. from Openoffice.org. When saving to a foreign format, you get the warning "this document may contain formatting or content that cannot be saved in MS ...." But you have a box you can tick "Do not show this warning again". fx
