[opensuse] Firefox, lost passwords
I upgraded to3.6 a few days ago and everything seemed OK Today I tried out the private browsing function and now all the saved passwords are gone. Is there a way to restore it? Or.... you could have simply stopped the private browsing function. C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I had stopped the private browsing, and was back browsing at the previously opened tabs. When I tried to load another bookmark that required a login I noticed the saved passwords were missing. -- Collector of vintage computers http://www.ncf.ca/~ba600 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Hmmm that is odd. I experimented a bit with it here, and I've not been able to duplicate it. Have you tried again with Private Browsing? Do you get the same behavior? or was it a one time thing? You need to enter the master password again. Didn't Firefox ask you for it? Perhaps the window was hidden somewhere? I tried it again without issue, I did have 2 windows open with a half dozen tabs in each when it failed
