Michael, I am sorry to see you go. You have often been a help to me and ohters here. I think you're making a mistake to take this sound card thing so hard. It could be someting the S.u.S.E. guys can fix in a day or so. It seems to me this is the whole idea of Linux. If its broke, don't throw your hands up and hit ctl+alt+delete. ..um...this seems like a bit of an overreaction. It makes more sense to talk to the guys at S.u.S.E. and figure this thing out than to get all angry and just quit like that. Umh, I also disagree with the somewhat constant melodrama on this list the last couple of days ( I include moi ) what the hell is going on? It must be a full moon. Even if 5.3 was TERRIBLE, I'd stick with S.u.S.E. --all these problems will get worked out and there's no point in having a fit over the occasional hickup or misunderstanding. I'm still looking forward to getting my copy.
