I've a strange problem with 9.2 that I've not had before, and haven't been able to find the "fix" for it. As root, any mixer works....finding the Crystal Audio chipset. As user, trying to run KMix, for example, returns a "can't find mixer" error. Obviously, it's a permissions problem, and one that shouldn't have happened. Does anyone know what files I need to change permissions on, or is that the "fix?" Thanks, Fred -- "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
