[S.u.S.E. Linux] Native PPM Loader Problem with NVidia XSuSE Server
Ack, help. I can't seem for the life of me to get E (enlightenment window manager) to run on the NVidia SuSE X server. This is what happens when I perform a startx. All of the Imlib requirements have been successfully installed. E starts up and then hangs when it apparently has problems using the image formats in certain popular themes. This is the results. The only way out is a CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE. Thanks in advance for any help regarding this matter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- XSuSE_NVidia Version 2.0/ X Window System (protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6300) Release Date: 18 January 1997 If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is newer than the above date, look for a newer version before reporting problems.
