What sort of mobo are you running this card on? Your problem *could* be that your mobo can't put enough power through to your graphics card. I had that problem with a FIC socket 7 board when trying anything more powerfull than a SiS 6326... After months of pestering FIC they finally admitted tha my board can't handle the power demands of the TNT2 card (that I've tried about 5 different ones of). Just a possibility...
