[SuSE Linux] Perl learners: a cgi lesson for free
Hi, I know alot of new users want to get cgi going on their apache servers. Here is a url for a nice simple perl howto. <A HREF="http://www.lies.com/begperl/"><A HREF="http://www.lies.com/begperl/</A">http://www.lies.com/begperl/</A</A>> you can use wget to mirror the files on your harddrive. I also must say that another great source , which was recently recommended here, www.mcp.com/personal is great!!! You are entitled to "view" electronic books on perl, c, and other related topics for free!!!! With a 90 day time limit. I recommend Perl5 By Example. With a bit of ingenuity, you can save each chapter of the books, and get them to work on your hard drive. The trick is to remove the first line of the index.htm, that says <base ref> <some huge directory name on the server>. There are books on c, c++, perl, java, linux administration, hacking, etc. - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
