Hi, Does someone know a good report generator for Linux with Oracle? It must be a report generator with a nice GUI frontend for editting/designing the report. Say something like CrystalReports....

I don't know of such an application, but I do know about PHP. After a couple of hours learning you could get a nice HTML report of any kind you could want. It is probably one of the best of the rest solutions. With a little more work you could get it to output as pdf. -- Richard Fletcher, Sheffield, UK.

Hmm, well, I don't really know either, but apart from the obvious (Oracle Designer) perhaps the closest to Crystal is maybe Actuate (http://www.actuate.com). They also bought the FormulaOne Java spreadsheet thing, so you could generate reports on paper, web pages or as spreadsheets.
