If you use SecureID, no the Cisco client won't work because the Cisco client only works with three magic cards. Nortel does have a Linux client that replaces the Windows equivalent client, check their web site. -Jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: "HOLLOW, CHRISTOPHER" <christopher.hollow@cgi.com> Newsgroups: Suse.Linux-e To: <suse-linux-e@suse.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 25, 2004 12:03 PM Subject: [SLE] VPN Client
Hi Folks...
Finally pushed to the brink on my W2K work laptop, I've decided that I'm going to thumb my nose to corporate standards and migrate it to SuSe. The reason I haven't done so long ago is that it has to be seamless in terms of functionality. The two bigs: Office and VPN. I've noticed that people are reporting good success with Office2K under Wine. One down, one to go. I'm using the Nortel Extranet VPN client for remote connectivity from W2K. Can someone suggest a VPN client for SuSe that will provide the same functionality, transparent to the VPN gateway? Anyone tried this before?
Thanx,
Christopher Hollow

-Jeff As of a year or so ago it could be found at netlock.com. Very not free.
