I need some help with ndis wrapper. How do I configure it and bring up the interfaces? Can I do it with yast? -- Ken Swain ken@kenswain.com http://kenswain.com "Spoof them all, let god sort them out."

I hope you arent using a 64bit OS with a 32bit driver
like me!
Typically you want to have already installed
ndiswrapper (via yast)
1Find and locate the windows driver
2.ndiswrapper -i [inf_file]
3.ndiswrapper -m
4.modprobe ndiswrapper

Follow the instructions at /usr/share/doc/packages/ndiswrapper and after you have the driver installed add ndiswrapper to /etc/sysconfig/kernel under Modules_Loaded_ON_Boot to have the module loaded when you boot. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners." -Ernst Jan Plugge
