Have a good day, The Suse.com team http://www.suse.com This is probably a bogus e-mail that has had its attachment stripped. I received one exactly like it in my private account last night. The attachment was a zipped EXE file which, of course, only works on Windoze. Since I'm running Linux... <LOL> At any rate, the sender's address was bogus, since I attempted a reply before doing anything else. There are very clever fakes, out there.

Well Dave, my K3B will write to DVDs, so yes there is a way! ;o) Don't know what version of SuSE you are using or k3b, but you might could update your cdrecord also for the function. Suse 9.0 (got all the latest patches ect) and the latest version of k3b There is no option in k3b that ive found to do a full system backup to dvd where it compresses the data and makes the dvd bootable with a recovery tool... dave On Mon, 2004-03-15 at 15:44, BandiPat wrote:

Mondoarchive in the later "unstable" version is supposed to be able to do this. There is a new switch. As I don't have dvd write capability on this machine, I've not tried it. Check out www.mondorescue.org and see if it will work for you. Mike

Just some of the usual virus spam. Nothing for us Linux users to worry about.
