I know they are not links and I know they have not been links. And I know the links in the body of the doc work. That doesn't make the lack of them being links any less irritating! The point is _why_ are they not links, when they easily could be. Instead I have to waste my time by searching the doc to find the live links. Mostly I simply don't bother since they're usually only of marginal interest.
