How exactly did you change the bootloader? Have you rewrote the MBR again after Windoze did that? Which one are you using, grub or lilo? Can you please post your /boot/grub/menu.lst or /etc/lilo.conf respectively? Greetings -- Alex

How lucky for you. Had you lost SUSE, and been stuck with Windows, it would have been a tragedy. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Expecting? Go into Yast and check your bootloader. I was sitting at a 10.2 system this morning trying to unhose the MBR using the repair functions of the install CD and noted that it ignored Windows as an option when setting up grub. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

title Windows chainloader (hd0,0)+1 Ps. You can also test this before you edit the file by entering the chainloader (hd0,0)+1 on the grub command line. Pss. Please note that this assumes that your windoze partition is on the first drive, first partition... where it usually is. -- Kind regards, M Harris <>< -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
