The SuSE distribution includes zircon, xirc, and tkirc, but for those of you who have tried those and they just weren't quite what you wanted, head over to <A HREF="http://www.gtk.org/~trog"><A HREF="http://www.gtk.org/~trog</A">http://www.gtk.org/~trog. That is the home for bezerk, a gtk based irc client. I am using gtk1.0 and it compiled and ran fine on my box. I have been a devoted BitchX user for ages, but for those of you who find bx and ircii an unfriendly environment, bezerk is worth a look.
